I followed 3 steps to design my sebsite:

In order to make the website colorful and interesting, I used picture, photo, video and flash. They could be better to express what I want to show on the website, and make the nice visible effect.

1. The Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds, 2003
Introduce lots of dog knowledge from different aspects, e.g. dog breed, dog care, dog management, etc, and also supply more than 1000 pictures. Especially, the dog history supplied much value and special information could be used on my website, like Dogs in the Ancient Past, The Baiting Sports, Carting Dogs, Carriage Dogs, Dogs and Church, and so on. These knowledge record how the dog evolution from the hunting tools to lovely pets in human!|s life.

Topic: Social Context
On the website, I have introduced the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), and their “No Kill” police are satisfied with my objective to protect dogs.

Topic: Description and Rationale
I am a dog lover, and I hope to share my happiness and stories of dog with dog lovers. In order to communicate with more world friends, and supply the fresh information in time, I created a website to show my ideas – “Dog Paradise”.

There are three main parts of the website; one is for introduce the dog knowledge, for example, dog history (how the dog becomes the pet), dog breed, dog behavior, dog care, and so on.
Another part is about dog and people, and it occupied 3/5 of the whole website. It included training dogs, dog food DIY, dog rescued, working dog, and interview the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), etc. I hope to expound and investigate the relationship between human and dog, and let people know dog is not only a toy, but also can do many things for humans, and we need to protect them. I think it is the unique point of my website which different from other dog websites.
The last part of Dog Paradise emphasizes the real-time communications. I designed a dog lover club, and it supplied a large space for dog lovers to make friends, no matter the time and place. They can chat, write diary or record stories of their dogs here, and also show photos on photo album. In addition, I designed Question & Answer (Q&A) for dog lovers as well; I hope every dog lover can get the knowledge and useful information on my website. In order to create more new service for the net friends, and make my website special, I designed ‘Dog Personality Design’, and the dog lover can spend their ideas to create everything for dogs. This would be another unique point of my website as well.
